Account Manager

Safeharbor Knowledge Solutions is seeking a qualified account management professional that is eager to wear multiple hats within a fast paced organization. You should be a team player who is able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, have strong client relations and communication skills and have a history of managing primary accounts.

The Account Manager serves as one of the primary business contacts for the client base. The AM is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the AM will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. The AM will collaborate on marketing initiatives including web-site messaging, collateral development, sales presentations/demos, email campaigns and CRM management. The AM will also need to be a critical thinker to assist and ultimately own providing continuous ROI improvement and strategic direction to several clients.

Client Facing Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and management of client deliverables.
  • Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and internal teams to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
  • Assist with management of Marketing Intern


  • Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance client relationships
  • Project Management experience
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Handles deadline pressure well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Undergraduate degree preferred

Additional beneficial skills:

  • Knowledge of the Web Self-Service industry
  • Background in Content Management
  • Basic understanding of call-center operations
